Commente par Matt jazzy (1) le Je suis musicien de jazz et je ne comprends pas ce film. Ok, le monde professionnel du jazz est une compétition et il faut être le meilleur, la relation élève/prof est intéressante et très réaliste pour avoir déjà vécu ça dans des écoles de musique mais en revanche du point de vue musical ce film passe complètement à côté. Quand le protagoniste joue "double time" il ne fait plus du swing mais du black métal ! D'une manière générale, quand on veut jouer vite il faut se détendre au maximum et non se muscler et se tendre comme il le fait. Du coup j'étais très étonné de la fin qui est un paradoxe énorme : comment tout d'un coup il devient bon sans savoir travailler correctement et de plus sans avoir touché son instrument depuis plusieurs jours ? mois ? ils ne le disent pas dans le film... C'est impossible.
